Today I feel strange, but light.
Yesterday I asked $
Moonbeam13 to take off my hat. So from today I am no longer your photomanipulation Gallery Moderator.
The time is right to move on to other things.

This is something I've been thinking about for a while, as other priorities, like leading the book project (Obscene Seduction) and my health need to come first. I'm also going to try to spend more time on some sort of social life. lol
I can't give moderating my 100% any more, and if I'm to do a job, I can't just do it half-arsed.
I have been on the team since September 2007 and have enjoyed it greatly. It hasn't all been peachy, I've fought my silent battles for the gallery, to put it that way. But I choose to take with me only the positive things. It has all been worth it in the end.
I leave with a true learning experience and with genuine, lasting friendships (you know who you are).
I'd like to thank (not trying to do the Oscar speech here. lol) everyone of you guys that has made this such a positive experience.
I am confident in saying that I am proud of all my choices and efforts while working with Community Relations, promoting good art and educating about the photomanip gallery and the artform.
Being a volunteer is more demanding than one would imagine, so assess your time, your organization skills and your commitment before you consider applying for Community Relations (or OMG, I want a hat thingy!).
...But really. Status chasers barely last a week. ;
)
My only wish now is for the Photomanipulation gallery to have a decent GM because I care about the gallery immensely. My mission was always to highlight unique art against the vast wall of goffic lost girl clichés.
That does not stop here on my part.
CR has been such a big part of my life and I'll probably feel bummed out for a little while as I go through withdrawals, but I know that taking the hat off will be good for me.
I really cannot wait to be a regular deviant again! (No, I'm not leaving dA, mwahaha)
Spring up here has been fantastic so far, so now I'm off to really enjoy it!
Stay devious, lovelies!
